ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC)

ATOHEMA: Jurnal Teologi Pastoral Konseling is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or access fees. We believe that open access enhances the dissemination, visibility, and impact of scholarly research while contributing to the advancement of the fields of theology and pastoral counseling.

To support the editorial and publication processes, ATOHEMA: Jurnal Teologi Pastoral Konseling charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) only for manuscripts that have successfully passed the peer-review process and have been officially accepted for publication.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) for ATOHEMA: Jurnal Teologi Pastoral Konseling is IDR 777,000 (Seven hundred seventy-seven thosand rupiah) per accepted article. The journal accepts manuscripts with a recommended length of 4,100 to 7,500 words, excluding the abstract and bibliography.

The APC covers costs associated with:

1. Editorial management and manuscript handling;
2. Administration of the double-blind review process;
3. Copyediting and proofreading;
4. Professional translation of accepted manuscripts (if in English);
5. Layout and typesetting;
6. DOI registration;
7. Publication via Open Journal Systems (OJS);
8. Website maintenance and digital archiving;
9. Long-term preservation of published articles.

There is no manuscript submission fee. The APC is payable after the manuscript has been officially accepted for publication. Payment instructions will be provided once the Editor-in-Chief has verified the manuscript's suitability for publication and a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) has been issued.

By submitting a manuscript to ATOHEMA: Jurnal Teologi Pastoral Konseling, the author acknowledges and agrees to pay the applicable Article Processing Charge (APC) if the manuscript is accepted for publication. The APC policy is reviewed periodically and is subject to revision by the Publisher. Any revisions apply only to manuscripts submitted after the effective date of the new policy.
