PERAN PASTORAL KONSELING DALAM MENGATASI KONFLIK JEMAAT

Pastoral counseling has an important role in helping the congregation overcome various life problems faced. Pastoral counseling aims to mature God's people to be independent in faith in God. The main roles of pastoral counseling include helping counselees experience and accept their situation as a whole, find meaning and purpose, and facilitate positive change and growth. Pastoral counseling also plays a role in teaching healthy communication, giving full attention, fostering positive thinking, developing patience, and bringing the counselee closer to God through prayer and His word. Through holistic pastoral counseling, the congregation is expected to overcome life problems, experience complete recovery, and develop a strong and meaningful spirituality. The method used in this research is to use qualitative research methods using various literature books, journals and articles and other literature that supports this research. The approach in pastoral counseling must adapt to the specific needs and situation of each congregation, respecting the uniqueness of individuals and their backgrounds. The Bible and the guidance of the Holy Spirit become the main foundation in the implementation of pastoral counseling, with the aim of bringing the counselee closer to God and living life according to His will.
